Firstly welcome to the Kazeti  web site, I hope your visit is enjoyable and gives you an insight into what you can expect from me,  which will in turn help you realise the type of home I endeavour to find for my beautiful puppies.

I am Karen and was granted my breeders and exhibitors affix of 'Kazeti' from the UK Kennel club in 2004.  I have been a licenced breeder with my local council since 2011 which means I also have to abide by their strict rules too, which I believe is in the interests of the dogs.  Since the change in law last year we now have to be rated and I am delighted to say I received a 5 star rating.

Many people wonder how I decided on Kazeti, I wanted my affix to be very personal both to me and my dogs, so decided to make it up using letters from the names of my wonderful shepherds.

I am a small breeder hoping to breed approximately 4 litters of excellently bred German Shepherds per year.  Everything is fully health tested, with hips and elbows being scored,  my own cut off point on hips is 20, with the breed average being only 19, so I am very strict with the dogs I use.  I also believe on elbow scoring and will not use anything with a score of over 1.   All the males are haemophilia tested clear, this is something that does not affect females.   I am also now testing for DM (degenerative myelothapy) which is a very debilitating disease which can be avoided.

My puppies are born and fully raised in the house, and are not left alone day or night for the first 14 days.They are handled from day one and mix and interact with my adult dogs too.   They love to join in with the household activities and think chasing a mop or broom around is great fun.  They leave happy to go straight into a home and are not worried about noise, or normal household activities.  They also love to help unload the washing machine. 

They leave well handled, confident, socialised and well

used to all household activities including my grandchildren who practically move in when we have puppies as its "their job" to look after them.

At Kazeti I pride myself in the quality of my dogs.  By using some of the best bloodlines available in the UK and internationally,  I can ensure that I produce good quality puppies with outstanding temperaments which have been bred from low hip scoring parents, giving you a lifelong, healthy, loving companion.   All my puppies leave me with a full vet check, 1st vaccination and are microchipped, which I have been qualified to do since 2004.  They also are insured with Petplan, have a puppy pack of Purina Pro Plan large breed Puppy Athletic  (which they are reared on) a toy and a blanket so have something familiar when they go into their new homes, together with a 20 page booklet of advice and helpful tips.

I am pleased to say I am now qualified with Vet Image Solutions for ultrasound scanning level 1 so am now happily scanning my own girls.

Please note that due to my committments with my own dogs and the time I like to give them, I am busy in the mornings. I am available for phone calls from 12 noon - 5pm and 7pm-8pm,  and for visits by prior arrangement of a mutually convenient time on afternoons.    In cases of emergency I am available at all times.  This is to give me time to take my own dogs out training etc.   Thank you.
